Stix is the best adhesion primer I've used. It just sticks and imo is the best foundation for any tricky substrate. Just to note, rubs down beautifully and covers great. The high hiding primer far exceeds anything I've used before for coverage and hide. Will obliterate anything in two and it most cases one.

I purchased a gallon of insl-x stix primer to coat up some melamine wardrobes. It was quick & easy to apply & sanded down great. I was doubtful any primer would give me the adhesion i required but this primer proved me wrong!

Fantastic all round water based primer.
It has good adhesion on properly prepared surfaces.
Like other Benjamin Moore products easy to apply, good at obliterating strong colours, and surprisingly does well at blocking tannin and old water stains.

This high-hiding primer has to be the best primer on the market. Its opacity, levelling and stain blocking capabilities on a quite difficult timber with high tannin levels was truly outstanding. Take it to yet another level when sprayed with an wagner xvlp 3500 unit, an excellent product all round.

The high hide is a great primer that adheres well to surfaces. I have used it to paint a flat panel fake wood (melamine?) door. The primer adhered well and dried quickly.
Compared to some others on the market its very low odour too, which is a definite plus!

I went to visit these guys and they are knowledgeable and welcoming. The primer is fantastic, I used 2 coats to cover some dark purple lines and it worked perfectly. I am sold on Benjamin Moore paint.

- On hard, non-porous surfaces, such as glazed ceramics and non-ferrous metal, maximum adhesion and hardness may take 3-4 days to develop.
