What I like about Aura is its practicality. It is easy to apply, easy to get a couple of coats on in a day, easy to obliterate strong colours, and easy to get the coverage with strong or bright colours.
Easy to get the job done efficiently with consistently great results.

I used Aura matte in Old Claret over a large chimney breast , the colour is a very rich deep red, as any professional decorator will tell you these colours can be a real headache. In the past when I've used other leading brands I've budgeted for 2.5 Litres of paint, as I know I will have to apply at least 3 or 4 coats to get the finish I require, I achieved a flawless finish with 2 coats of Aura matte and used less than a quart (approx 1 litre),so in fact it was more cost effective. In addition the finish was tough, didn't mark easily and if "touching up" was required, it was easy & invisible, many other brands would require you to re-coat the entire area. This product is a huge technological leap forward, If you like your current paint of choice, I can guarantee you'll like Benjamin Moore.

Benjamin Moore make some bold claims about Aura and I have to say that its all they claim it to be.
Having used it on many jobs, clients are also very impressed with the finish.
I have used pale colours through to darks and all cover exceptionally well in 1 coat, with a second coat almost being a formality.
Because of the quick drying times I am able to complete jobs in less time but to a much higher standard.
Under a scrub test no colour rubs off at all, as it does with all other 'wipeable' paints from other well known brands (Dulux Crown etc)

After speaking on the phone and visiting the showroom, I got this paint in Electric Blue (from Sex and the City movie). The finish is without a doubt the best I have ever seen. The paint goes on beautifully and in conjunction with the primer, I could have got away with just 1 coat! Better than Dulux, Farrow and Ball, Fired Earth and Valspar IMO. The finish is deep and flat, very even between using a brush and roller. I will be using this paint from now on.
